I have been testing 10.1 FP1. The version in the production environment is 9.5.1 FP1. Although the preferrred configuration is 10.1 on the client to go with 10.1 on the server, I tried testing 9.5.1 Client with 10.1 server in case there is a delay deploying the new client to the PCs of some users.
It seems to work during the initial tests, but then the server crashed when one user running a TI process, and another user connected with 9.5.1. Unfortunately, even after restarting the server I was unable to connect to any of the TM1 instances on the test server, even the sample databases. I was only able to connect after uninstalling and reinstalling TM1.
I have logged an SR with IBM but would like to know if anyone has had similar issues. This problem may or may not be related to the client version difference. |
