I've been working through writing TIs using Modeler and finding some very strange results - see writeup . Would be interested to know if anybody else has looked at this and what they think is happening

Very interesting article.

Since PM was released people have kept saying to me that they would start everything in PM and then finish what couldn't be done in PM, by using TI.
My response was always that I would feel uncomfortable developing anything in 2 separate interfaces but never really had much evidence to say why it made me feel uncomfortable; you have now provided some excellent evidence! Thankyou very much.

Hi David - I'm pretty sure this is just the "wizard effect" as in classic TI editor wizard code is regenerated upon each activation of the "advanced" tabs.  I would have 2 bets
1/ that for processes written with PM and executed/run as opposed to opened/edited via "classic" interface the code remains as per PM
2/ if in PM all variables are set to "other" and there is just manually written code and no wizard cr*p then all code will remain unchanged when subsequently opened in "classic"
