TM1 Contributor non-Admin users cannot use picklist ...

This is happening in TM1 Contributor 9.5.1. I have a cube that has several cells that use String picklists. Those in the Admin group with Admin rights can use the picklists properly, but non-Admin users cannot. A non-Admin gets no choices in the dropdown if a subset uses the Alias, but is ok if it is a dimension picklist that isn't unsing the Alias, but unfortunately I need it to show the Alias in the list. Then on top of it, even if they are able to select a choice from the dropdown, when they hit enter or recalculate a box pops up that says "Unknown Error". Does anyone have a solution to this?
